The Motovario S Series shaft-mounted gearboxes are specifically designed for demanding applications such as conveyors and augers, while also being versatile enough to suit a wide range of industrial uses. Built with durable cast-iron casings, these reducers are engineered for maximum efficiency across various operating conditions. Available in sizes 050 to 125, the S Series offers exceptional power, torque, and flexibility, ensuring reliable performance even in challenging environments. ATEX certifications (2GD/3GD) make these units suitable for explosive environments, further extending their application scope.
S Series Features
The S Series in sizes 050, 060, 080, 100, and 125 offers exceptional versatility and performance for various industrial applications. These units feature power capabilities ranging from 0.12 kW to 45 kW with three-phase, 4-pole motors and reduction ratios between 7.34 and 394.69. They deliver a maximum torque of 3,200 Nm and accommodate radial loads of up to 30,000 N. Available configurations include foot-flange mounting with hollow shafts (S…C), solid shafts (S…D), and shrink disc shafts (S…L). Constructed from EN-GJL-200 grey cast iron and optimised through FEM analysis, the gearboxes ensure excellent mechanical strength and durability. The gearing, available in 2 or 3 reduction stages, is crafted from hardened and tempered materials with precision-shaved or ground profiles to ensure optimal efficiency.
